india

Indian cuisine is the general term for the wide variety of cooking styles from India. Indian food is almost always prepared with fresh ingredients along with delicate mixtures of many different fresh and dried spices and the exact recipes often vary greatly from one household to the next. To refer to Indian Cuisine is almost a misnomer, since the regional dishes vary tremendously from region to region.

By the way  :   The word ” CURRY  ” was invented by British colonialists in the 18th century.    Most likely a bastardization of the Indian word kari (meaning sauce),   or spiced sauce,   which was originally a thin,   soup-like,   spiced dressing served in southern India, amongst many other stew-like dressings for meat and vegetables.

This is a very simple version and will let you slip into this  exotic quality of cookery with a warm comfort food satisfaction.

Put onions in the bottom of the crock pot place chicken on top.

Blend or food process for a couple of pluses

Pour mixture over chicken
