CROCK POT CHICKEN , BROCCOLI AND TATER TOT

10 Sep

Okay, So this is a really big stretch for me ………………..

Growing up I lived in a house of a certain religion and you couldn’t eat meat on Fridays

SO  ,  we had fish sticks and tater tots   EVERY FRIDAY FOR MY WHOLE LIFE.

No cheese pizzas ,  or cheese sandwiches , or even real fish

JUST FISH STICKS AND THOSE DAMN TATER TOTS.

fish sticks    icky2     ttots

No I couldn’t put enough catsup on them both to drown out the taste ……….. heck my dog wouldn’t even eat them,

but , Mom said  eat.. so we ate.

SO ,  when I got to be a grown up adult person I swore that we would never have fish sticks or tater tots in the house.

Having said all that ,  this does taste pretty good  ,  dog gone it.  giphy

I think they did something to the Tater Tots , they’re actually pretty good !

Another Crock pot easy recipe:            :

1 )  10 3/4 Oz can of cream of chicken soup

12 oz. can of evaporated milk

1 tsp ground pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

1 1/2 tsp. season salt

3 cups shredded cheddar cheese ( shred it yourself tastes better , cheaper , and no chemicals to keep the shreds from clumping )

1 chicken  – that you can buy already cooked ( broasted ) at the store , tear in to bite size pieces  rotchciken

1 – 10 oz pkg frozen broccoli , thawed and drained

1 – bag 28 oz tater tots  Ore_Ida_Tater_Tots

In a large bowl mix the soup , milk , and seasonings

add the cheese , mix

Add chicken and broccoli , mix

Mix in Tater Tots

Dump the whole thing into crock pot

Cook on low for 6 hours   cpottt
