Aloo Gobi (Indian Style Potatoes with Cauliflower)

This is about the recipe for a easy really good dish

Damn, u sure eat like Aloo.
The American aloo or aloe or agave .  It  is a different plant
. Numerous species are used as decorative plants. For this purpose they arc grown indoors and set out during summer….In the tequila-producing regions of Mexico, agaves are called mezcales. The high-alcohol product of agave distillation is called mescal;. A mezcal called tequila, is produced from Agave tequilana, commonly called “blue agave”. There are many different types of mezcal some of which may be flavored with the very pungent mezcal worm………………………………..   but I digress ………………
Aloo Gobi (or Gobhi) is a South Asian dish popular in both India and Pakistan. Aloo means potato and Gobi (also spelled Gobhi) means cauliflower. This dish has a prominent role in the movie Bend It Like Beckham.
Okay , So this is about the easiest dish you are going to make.
Dump everything into the pot and GOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1 large cauliflower – washed , cut into 1 inch pieces
1 really big potato – diced – enough for 2 cups worth
1 med onion chopped
1 tomato diced
1 1 inch piece ginger  – grated ( use your new micro planer )
3 cloves garlic  – minced
3 green Thia , serrano peppers chopped
1 tbsp. cumin seeds
1 tsp. red chile powder ( originally this calls for a tablespoon , but even I , who like spicy food ,  thought that might be a little much ….or not  …  for you  )
1 tbsp.   Gram masala  ( get a jar of this we are going to be using it and you may find your own uses for it )
1 tbsp. salt

1 tsp turmeric powder      ( healthy )

3 tbsp. oil
1 handful chopped cilantro
Put everything EXCEPT THE CILANTRO in the crock pot  ,   Mix well.
Cook on low for 3 hours , string once in a while.   (3 hour to get some other stuff done instead of standing over the stove )
Add cilantro,   Mix gently so as not to break up the cauliflower.
Serve with NAAN     nnn
 You can get this in your local store now or warm up some pita bread  ,      and a side of onion and cucumber salad.
