Okay, So this is for Brittany and everyone else that likes to use “THE CROCKPOT ”

This recipe is from  ” GRAMMA’S  IN THE KITCHEN”    web site .

Its real simple and I doctored it up a little.


2 cups fresh green beans

1 onion sliced

4 large potatoes – cut into 1 1/2 ” pieces

14.5 oz can beef broth

5 lb pork loin roast

13 oz pack smoked sausage – cut into 1/2′ rounds

1 tsp sage

1 tsp thyme

afew grinds pf pepper

10.5 0z can cream of chicken soup

Place onions in crock pot

Then potatoes , then beans.

Place roast on top

Place sausage rounds on top of roast

Spoon soup over the top of everything

Cover and cook on low for 7 hours or so ( yes it will be fine on LOW until you get home from your grueling job )



Eat and Enjoy!


REMEMBER : You can always freeze the leftovers in those Glad Tupperware thingys for lunch or another supper
