FIRECRACKER SLAW

So between the color and the heat it’s just like a firecracker ..  yeah….uh..uh…….sure it is …………….

Okay, so  yes this is another cole slaw recipe but this one has a bit of a kick to it. It will go well with almost everything.

1/4 cup olive oil

1/4 cup cider vinegar

4 TSP. sugar

2 TSP salt

2 TSP garlic powder

1 TSP fresh ground pepper

1/2 TSP cayenne pepper

1/2 TSP paprika

1/2 TSP dried thyme

1/2 red cabbage – cored and sliced  thin

1/2 head green cabbage – cored and sliced thin

2 yellow bell peppers – seeded aand sliced thin

6 scallions – cut into 1 ” lengths and sliced thin

1 smed red onion sliced thin

WISK OIL,  VINEGAR,  SUGAR ,  SALT,  GARLIC POWDER,  PEPPER,  PARIKA , CAYENNE AND THYME TOGETHER IN ALRGE BOWL UNTIL SUGAR DISOLVES

ADD EVERTHING ELSE AND TOSS WELL REFRIGERATE FOR ATLEAST I HOUR

. ( HERE IS ALITTLE TRICK SO AS NOT TO MAKE A BIG MESS——- USE A REALLY BIG BOWL OR EVEN A SOUP POT TO MIX YOUR SALADS ,…. THEN YOU CAN  TRANSFER IT TO A SMALLER SERVING BOWL …. NO MUSS …  NO FUSS  )
