lemon brine

3 Jul

Happy 4th to everyone,

Today I’m going to try a brine for fried chicken with 5 lemons, 1 cup honey and 2 tbsp salt. The coating is a flour mix…buttermilk.. flour mix.

Something  a little different for me.  I’ll fry it up in the morning and refrigerate it for  a picnic out at the lake. Let you know how it turns out.

Any one  care to comment  on the drop dead blonde ale?

FoodPairing

Point Drop Dead Blonde Ale pairs nicely with Italian dishes with red or white sauces. Middle Eastern dishes like falafel and hummus are also great choices.

CHEESE:

A soft cow’s milk cheese like French Brie pairs well.

WINE:

Wine cousins are Pinot Grigio, Pinot Blanc, or unbaked Chardonnay.
